About Custom Orthotics

What are Custom Orthotics?

Custom orthotics are foot inserts that are molded specifically for you based on your unique structural needs. Custom inserts are designed to distribute weight evenly across your feet and reduce pressure on specific areas, helping to correct abnormal walking patterns, alleviate pain, and improve the alignment of your feet. Custom orthotics are made from a range of materials such as rubber, foam, and plastic.

At Buffalo Orthotics, we use semi-rigid materials to ensure your foot stays in the proper position and your movements are normalized. If you have flat feet or high arches that lead to pronation problems, this type of orthotic is beneficial when dealing with plantar fasciitis, tendinitis, bursitis, shin splints, heel and arch pain, or any other foot abnormality.

Will Custom Orthotics Increase Stability & Support?

Custom orthotics provide additional stability and comfort by supporting the arches, cushioning the feet with shock-absorbing materials and reducing pressure from the feet and ankles. They help promote better foot alignment, enabling you to walk and stand for longer periods without feeling fatigued or uncomfortable. Individuals who are always on their feet will find that custom orthotics significantly improve the quality of their daily life by reducing pain and helping them maintain an active lifestyle.
